Pepe's on the Lake

We had an amazing time at Pepe’s on the Lake. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, genuinely friendly and attentive, checking in on us just the right amount to make sure everything was going well. The food was outstanding, easily the best we’ve had in ages. Everything was fresh beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. It really added a personal touch and made the whole experience even better. The menu is absolutely amazing. I've tried all the crurries, and they are all super tasty, with a perfect combination of flavor and chili. It's not too hot, so you won't break a sweat and not too pricey, so you won't break the bank. They offer regular specials for couples and cocktails throughout the week.

The lamb samosas and daltjie starters were delicious. Our lamb salome & prawn curry was absolutely amazing—perfectly spicy and full of flavor. Not pricy and value for money. The service was also excellent.

Excellent vibe. Food is on point. The bunny chow is a must try! They have enough space to host dinner dates or parties. The owner is extremely friendly and makes sure you're happy.

I had the braai platter this past Sunday and it was absolutely amazing! The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the portion size was more than satisfying. The vibe and service were great too. Definitely coming back for more!
